Kevin Li studied Chemistry at TU München, specializing in Physical Chemistry. His passion for technical innovation and problem-solving led him to join our team in early 2024, where he is working on mass spectrometry instrumentation to develop our cluster beam setup.
Yihui Yan graduated from the Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China, in 2021. He enjoys the more technical aspects of getting things to work and is setting up the instrument to study cluster nucleation.
Gabriele Virga studies Chemistry at the University of Bologna. He joined us as an Erasmus student to work on his master’s thesis. His project focuses on the synthesis of iron oxide nanoparticles through laser ablation in liquid solutions, exploring their potential use in environmental applications.
Cheng He is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at TU Munich. His project focuses on designing the electrospray ion source for our cluster beam setup.
Jozef Lengyel studied chemistry at TU Bratislava, followed by Ph.D. in physical chemistry jointly at the Czech Academy of Sciences and UCT in Prague. He pursued his postdoctoral research at the University of Innsbruck and then at TU München, where he established the Aerosols, Clusters, and Environment group.
